This weekend is a special one in Chicago. Not only was the Chicago Marathon held on Sunday, but it is also Columbus Day today. To celebrate, Chicago will be holding its Annual Columbus Day Parade. People travel to the city for both events, so we want to wish everyone a safe and fun weekend.
The Bank of America Chicago Marathon was held on Sunday morning. It is an event that draws runners from across the world and spectators from just as far.
The 63rd Annual Chicago Columbus Day Parade will be held today, Monday, October 12, 2015 from approximately 12:30 to 2 pm. Traffic in the city's Loop may be diverted to accommodate the many floats, marchers and bands. Drivers should be aware of the added protections and drive safely. If you can't make it to the live parade, it is shown live on tv.
