Attorney Sarah Toney was a guest speaker at the Ohio Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers annual Advanced DUI seminar on March 10-12, 2016. The seminar was attended by Judges, prosecutors, experts, and defense attorneys and was held in Columbus, Ohio.
Sarah spoke on a panel entitled "Defending Blood and Urine Test Cases" on Friday. On Saturday, she served as a Field Sobriety Instructor during a 4 and a half hour break out session where she worked with attendees on the best issues to cross examine as well as what to look for in field sobriety testing. She also served on a "Mystery Panel" where attendees could bring their file and ask any questions they had about DUI defense.
Sarah was the only attorney from Illinois who was asked to speak, and was included with speakers from Oklahoma, South Carolina, Florida, Texas, and Michigan in addition to Ohio.
