Starting on June 13, 2019, at the opening of the ISBA Annual Meeting, Attorney Toney will serve a three-year term as one of the representatives of the Cook County Judicial Circuit. The Board of Governors consists of 27 members, who oversee the management and operations of ISBA that is subject to policies established by the 203-member Assembly.
The ISBA was founded in 1877 and is considered the top legal association in Illinois. The purpose of this organization is to help state attorneys in the practice of law and promote improvements in the justice system. The voluntary organization is comprised of 28,000 members who are committed to proposing and molding legislation, supporting the law and the courts, and educating the public.
Since 2004, Attorney Toney has practiced criminal defense and DUI defense in Chicago and the surrounding areas. While she is committed to helping our clients obtain the most favorable results in the courtroom, she has been an Adjunct Professor at Loyola University of Chicago School of Law since 2006.
